Broadfield is available for location hire for film, television or editorial purposes. Broadfield has numerous locations in and around the house and grounds to provide a variety of backdrops.
With its long historical heritage, Broadfield’s main house can be used as a setting for historical film or imagery, with original features dating back to the 14th, 16th and 17th Centuries. Rooms in the house have panelling, ornate ceilings, open fireplaces, and can be used as presented or crews can set rooms as desired. The surrounding rustic outbuildings and barns are also available and provide a range of period and country settings.
Broadfield’s gardens and grounds include a rose garden, walled kitchen garden, south facing lawns, wooded areas and ponds. Broadfield backs onto open Herefordshire countryside so is perfect for location hire requiring unimpeded views.
Hire periods can be anything from a half day to weeks, dependent on any other bookings. With eight bedrooms to the first floor, accommodation can be provided, or these can also be used as locations.
Most recently Broadfield was the scene for a Pre-Raphaelite style editorial photoshoot, using the tiled loggia and fold yard as a location for still life and model centred shots, and the lily pond for evocative imagery. As one of Herefordshire’s most historically interesting country houses, Broadfield provided the desired mixed use backdrop for the shoot. The photoshoot is due to be published on a major UK wedding website shortly.
Broadfield also recently hosted a two-day floral workshop and the associated photo and video shoot, with the tithe barn, loggia, numerous outbuildings and inner hall fireplace and stone mullioned bay window all providing backdrops.
Broadfield has also recently been used as a location for a remake of Wuthering Heights, centring around the front door of the house and entrance.
