The Vineyard

In 2023, we launched our very own Broadfield Sparkling Wine. A combination of our own Seyval Blanc grapes, mixed with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, our fizz is refreshing and elegant with a pleasing depth of flavour. Most similar in taste to Champagne or Cava, our sparkling wine is ideal as an apertif, with light summery dishes or for a celebration.

Fittingly, our wine is produced using the Champagne method. The grapes for our first vintage were picked back in 2021, spending a year fermenting in a tank and then being transferred to bottles for their second fermentation. With around 100 vines, we are still a small producer, with around 450 bottles available per year.

We work with Halfpenny Green Wine Estate to produce the wine at their excellent facility near Stourbridge. Halfpenny supports lots of small producers such as ourselves, as the English wine community grows.

How to buy our wine

Our Broadfield Sparkling Wine is available to couples marrying with us as a celebratory fizz on their big day, as well as over our bar during weddings and events. However, we are also able to offer delivery or collection for others wishing to purchase our sparkling wine. For enquiries, please email enquiries@broadfieldcourt.com or phone on 01568 760471.

We do not currently offer wine tours or tastings, and Broadfield is not open to the public, but we are happy to offer pre-booked visits when Broadfield is not in use by guests. Please contact us for more information.

Cider and Apple Juice

As well as producing our own wine, we also produce our own cider and apple juice from Broadfield’s orchard. Vegan and organic, both products are made for us by Abbiss Drinks, a local Herefordshire company.

Our cider and apple juice is available for our wedding couples and house guests to buy, over our bar, and by arrangement for collection. To enquire and purchase, please just get in touch.

Please note that Broadfield Sparking Wine is produced by Broadfield, not by the farm estate (Broadfield Court Farm Estate/brown signed Broadfield Court Vineyard), which offers different wines and is a completely different entity. Please contact them directly for any enquiries.
