“From the first time we looked around the venue we could tell how special it is and despite it being a cold/gloomy January day, we were drawn to Broadfield for how warm and inviting it felt. From that moment onwards, we received nothing but reassurance and support from Fran and Alex through every stage of the wedding planning process. We simply could not have pulled it off without them & felt that they would and did go above and beyond in every way to make our weekend truly special, unique and perfect. We could not have felt more looked after and supported, from the start to the day itself.

“We booked the house from Friday until Monday. We had initially been unsure about whether we wanted to do the full three days but we are so glad that we did. The drinks reception on Friday meant we’d already mingled and so didn’t have to stress on the Saturday (the wedding day) about getting round to speak to everyone, it also took the edge off the nerves of seeing everyone on the Saturday for the first time! On the Saturday, everything went seamlessly and because you pick your own suppliers at Broadfield, it felt like a day that was truly ours. The Sunday drinks/BBQ was 100% necessary to digest everything from the day before and have a more chilled day with our nearest and dearest.

“The venue itself is beautiful, both in terms of accommodation and scenery, all of our guests were obsessed with how lovely it is. Do not miss out on having the Broadfield sparkling for your drinks reception- our guests were leaving with bottles of it! There is not a single thing we could or would fault with Broadfield and Fran, Alex, and the team. It is the perfect place to have your wedding.”

From the moment we arrived in our initial meeting with Helen, we were struck by the breathtaking scenery—rolling countryside, beautifully kept gardens, and stunning views in every direction. It was set to create the most romantic and picturesque setting for our special day.

“All of our subsequent emails, calls and meetings with Helen and everyone at Broadfield Court were not only efficient and informative, but fun and full of thoughtfulness and an energy that confirmed we’d made the right choice in picking Broadfield Court for our wedding celebrations. The fact that we had guests travelling from other countries, that we could involve our dog Jesse, and that we could have the venue for the weekend, providing our guests with onsite, or very local accommodation was also a massive plus, this was novel for so many of our guests and they adored this added intimacy.

“What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Everything about Broadfield feels thoughtfully curated yet completely natural, which instantly put us and our guests at ease. It was the perfect balance of elegance and comfort.

“Booking Broadfield was the best decision we made for our wedding. The venue obviously speaks for itself but the support and guidance from Fran was an unexpected and invaluable extra that made the whole process so much more manageable while feeling super relaxed.

“We had three amazing nights at Broadfield – and we couldn’t recommend extending your stay by an extra night any more! Broadfield gives you the flexibility to create a completely bespoke wedding while having great support throughout. With Fran’s help we were able to create the most relaxed day that was authentically us – full of joy, love and many many tears.

“On the day Fran, Alex and the team were so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Having someone else who knew every detail about timings and coordination completely took the stress out of our morning so we could enjoy it. We also didn’t have any questions from suppliers directed at us in the lead up to the day as Fran had been in contact with them all.

“We always wanted our wedding to feel like we were having a weekend away with our favourite people and Broadfield allowed us exactly that – Fran and Alex are just lovely people who felt like part of our friends and family on the day which is what we had always hoped.

“I cannot recommend Broadfield Court enough! From our first meetings with both Fran and Alex, to our wedding day, they were so helpful, attentive and went out of their way to ensure we had the best day possible.

“At our first meeting, we were absolutely blown away by the venue and the grounds, and couldn’t wait to book our wedding there. At every meeting, we would go through details of the day to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. The team were fantastic on the day, making sure everything was taken care of, and we could fully enjoy ourselves.

“We stayed at the venue from Friday to Sunday, which was so perfect for us. All bridal and grooms party and partners stayed with us, which only added to the excitement of the weekend ahead. The venue was perfect for hosting friends and family on the Friday, with the team also helping us start the pizza oven for food on the Friday! We also used the coach house for some of our parties, which was a lovely addition. This meant both of our groups mingled, and were ready for the weekend ahead! We also were able to have our dog stay with us at the venue, and be present at the wedding all day, which was really important to us.

The house, the gardens and the views are all beautiful – we were complimented time and time again on our venue choice from our guests, and the team worked closely with our suppliers to make the best use of space.

“Wow, where do I begin? Broadfield Court is the most magical and perfect wedding venue we could’ve ever asked for.

“We first fell in love with Broadfield on a rainy November 2023 evening, the sun had set and the venue was only visible by a torch, yet somehow we saw the magic and the beauty of the grounds and knew this was our wedding venue! Although the winter cold, we could feel the warmth and love put into every corner of the grounds, we couldn’t possibly imagine having our wedding anywhere else!

“We cannot thank Fran, Alex and the entire team at Broadfield for their warm welcome and making us feel at home every time we visited. We were completely blown away by their dedication, support, efficiency and patience throughout the whole process. We were always made to feel comfortable and that no question was a silly question! They were so helpful in the planning process and always made it very clear that we could add our own personal touches to the venue for our wedding day which made it extra special and was another reason why we could’ve never considered anywhere else. We loved how Broadfield made it feel like the venue was truly ours.

“We had the venue from the Friday – Sunday and it felt like a home from home. We loved that we were able to enjoy the space for the entire weekend and not just for one day, it allowed for us to relax into the weekend, enjoy some time with friends and family and really soak up the moment. We also loved that we were able to bring our dog Kylo with us for the entire weekend!

“All of our guests that stayed on the property couldn’t get over how beautiful it was and were often seen exploring the grounds for themselves. On the Saturday which was our wedding day, we were constantly told by guests how beautiful the venue was and that it was the perfect place. We received so many compliments on the day that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and that the venue and ceremony area were perfection; which is a massive credit to the entire Broadfield team. We both feel immense pride that we can say that Broadfield was our wedding venue! We especially loved people watching together on our wedding day and getting to see our guests explore the grounds and see it for themselves. There was so much open space for our guests to mingle and walk around during gaps throughout the day, (including lawn games which were a great addition) that it created the perfect relaxed and calm environment that we dreamed of.

“From our first viewing we knew we would get married at Broadfield. From the cosy fire lit lounges and the extensive grounds, to the aisle in the woods it is truly breathtaking. With nine bedrooms and potential to add three more with the coach house, organising is made easy.

“We started our celebrations on the Friday evening, having a celebratory dinner with 24 close friends/family. Suppliers are all checked by the venue prior to the date and they can all come to Broadfield, removing all the stresses of travel! The attention to detail from the staff was second to none meaning that our wedding day went smoothly with nothing for us to sort. Helen and the team were wonderful, from first meeting to check out. Ensuring we had everything we need. When hiring Broadfield you not only hire a wonderful venue but also a well experienced team and wedding planner.

“How absolutely wonderful was our experience with the team at Broadfield? One word: exceptional.

“Fran and Alex, right from the very beginning when we showed initial interest, were to hand to help us with every decision. From inviting us to one of their many wedding events, where you can meet suppliers and see some of the things set up, to the final “I do” and the checking out briefing.

“Fran was our planner, and was so understanding and reassuring – helping you to, not only, choose everything you wanted, but to also save a little bit here and there for the bits that weren’t really needed. They have a wealth of trusted suppliers to choose from, but are also open to you bringing some in. And even when you decide to ball it all up and start again, well that’s okay with Fran too. In short: the team are on it! I was really nervous about planning a wedding, thinking I was never going to manage it without suffering some sort of breakdown, but Fran kept us buoyant and literally took all the hassle out of it. She was patient, kind and empathetic – I think she’s probably seen it all before! And the rest of the team, its a family business, really welcomed you in as if you were one of their own.

“The house itself is beautiful, with rolling landscape behind the breathtaking gardens, and a forest glade that makes you feel as though you’re getting married amongst magic. And when the lights go down, and the guests are free to wander, the whole thing felt like an event, rather than a party. People are still coming up to me now, and telling me it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and even our international friends, said they kept referring back to the pictures of Broadfield on their website, unable to let the place go and accept that it was all over.

“We feel so honoured to be part of Broadfield’s legacy, and we hope that we continue to share that bond long into the future. “We had our wedding at Broadfield Court in July 2024 and it was the best weekend of our lives! For two years we have been supported by Helen to plan our dream wedding. She has been responsive and quick to support any idea that we had. In the days before the wedding she made sure we have everything set and helped us change any details without a problem.

“On the actual weekend of the wedding Helen supported us throughout and clearly set out our hour by hour plans to make sure that everything ran as smooth as it could- and it did! Helen’s kindness and ability to manage everything made for the best time ever and we will forever be grateful to her for making it all happen.

“Broadfield itself is a beautiful venue. It was close to our families, so an ideal location. The surrounding area had a great amount of accommodation for our guests and for our extra special guests we could provide them a room at Broadfield. The rooms are beautiful and well sized and could accommodate a mix of our friends and family. The facilities have everything you need and more.

“Talking a walk in the gardens was a beautiful way to end our stay. We got married in the forest which was magical and everything I’d dreamed of. This is the perfect place for all your forest wedding fantasies!

“We hope to stay at Broadfield again one day in the future to celebrate our anniversary. But for now Broadfield will be a beautiful memory of ours!”

The property itself is stunning; we’re an outdoorsy couple who were looking for somewhere to represent our passion for woodland, flowers and the countryside and after searching all over Herefordshire, nothing else came close to the natural beauty and warmth of Broadfield. Their grounds have it all; vineyard, orchard trees, rolling hills, rose gardens and forest!

“We were even lucky enough with the weather to hold our wedding ceremony in their magical woodland area, and Fran went above and beyond to make it happen. Despite a rainy morning, she coordinated everything seamlessly —moving stacks of chairs and making sure every detail was perfect right up until I walked down the aisle.

“One of the greatest perks of choosing Broadfield Court is Fran and Alex themselves. From start to finish, they supported us checking in regularly and ensuring we had access to brilliant local suppliers – from coaches to hotels to saxophonists they knew the person for any creative vision. We even extended our stay to spend a third night there, hosting a Sunday family sports day on the lawn with those stunning views of the rolling hills—it truly felt like a fairytale weekend. The dining room was also perfect for a Friday family and bridal party buffet and the rooms were spotlessly clean.

“Fran’s attention to detail kept everything running smoothly, putting our minds completely at ease. The fact that our dog could join in the celebrations (with Fran even stopping him from sneaking some fruit cake!) just shows how thoughtful and accommodating they are. Broadfield Court also provided ample space for our bridal party to stay – we loved the addition of the coach house – making it feel like the best, most joyful sleepover ever.

“Before finding Broadfield we’d looked at countless venues and none felt quite like us however as soon as we stepped inside Broadfield it felt right. From the beautiful house, and wonderful garden to the woodland area which was the ideal picturesque setting for our ceremony to take place – we were even treated to a visit from the cows in the neighbouring field!

“The venue is perfect for those who want to personalise their wedding and experience the wonders of the Herefordshire countryside. Helen and all the staff at Broadfield were amazing – all our wishes were catered for and more, and the family-run approach gives the venue an extremely personal feel. Helen and the team were extremely organised and supportive throughout. We visited Broadfield multiple times – on open days and planning sessions which was very helpful to our planning.

“A lovely feature was getting the venue from Friday to Sunday, it meant our wedding party and families could celebrate all together for an extraordinary weekend. “Before we were even engaged, we fell in love with Broadfield Court and knew when our time came it just had to be here.

“Frances and her whole family become like a second family and as soon as we met them, we knew we had chosen the right place. Frances is just the most incredible support with a wealth of experience, expertise and guidance. The whole planning process was a dream.

“When our wedding finally came, Frances was on hand at all times and their beautiful home became ours for the weekend. All of our guests were blown away by the beauty of the building and grounds. Despite a rainy start to the day, Frances had plan A, B and C all sorted and I was so relaxed all day and luckily it turned into the most beautiful day. The day ran so smoothly and this was all down to the hardworking team we had.

“We had the most perfect wedding at Broadfield in July. Initially we fell in love with the gorgeous grounds which included the woodland, rose garden and many other spaces with gorgeous views all around. The house then offered many rooms which were decorated so tastefully and we thought it would suit all of our family (children and dogs included!).

“When looking round Frances, Alex and the team were so helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. They were also laid back and were able to create our own individual wedding. After looking round many venues, all of these points was the reason why we both immediately knew it was the venue for us.

“The lead up to the wedding was smooth and organised. Frances and the team were there when we needed and Frances was able to share some great recommendations, we really knew we were in the best hands. We also loved the two open days, which made us super excited for the big day!

“When it got to the weekend of the wedding, we arrived the Friday and could relax and set up with out nearest and dearest. Frances had organised suppliers to come when needed so and had been in touch with them, taking any extra stress of our hands. The big day came and Frances and the team ran everything so smoothly. We enjoyed every second and every one of our guests were blown away. It was really lovely having somewhere so unique and special.

Woodland wedding ✔️ Venue for the whole weekend (or longer if you wish)✔️ Tipi wedding ✔️ Dog friendly ✔️ Flexibility to add your own suppliers – food, flowers, music, booze, photographer, decor ✔️ Space onsite for our immediate family (and more) to sleep ✔️ Outdoor/boho/chic vibes ✔️ Beautiful views ✔️ Annual open days (which are ALOT of fun by the way) & flexibility to view (and re-view if you wish) Broadfield ✔️ Not only did we get all of the above, we got Fran too who runs Broadfield with her family.

“Fran has been UNBELIEVABLE from the start and has put up with me and my constant emailing for 3 years until our wedding day on the 1st June. Fran is someone who you can trust with any job big or small on your day, she responds immediately to any query you have, she remembers every little detail and she will feel like your wedding side-kick. Fran, Alex (her Husband) and the rest of her family are truly wonderful and they make you feel like Broadfield is your home.

“I am honestly so sad to say goodbye to Broadfield, Fran and the family – it is the end of a massive chapter in mine and my Husband’s life. That said, Broadfield has given us the most special memories we will hold onto for the rest of our chapters together. We will never be able to say an official goodbye to Broadfield, Fran and Alex as we hope to re-book Broadfield for our anniversary. This is another opportunity Broadfield offers which not many other wedding venues can, allowing myself and my Husband to re-live our beautiful memories of our wedding weekend. Honestly, you’d be silly to not get married at Broadfield.”
